NWA Beekeepers

Monthly Meeting...

The next meeting will be Monday November 14th at 7 pm at the County Extension Office.

This months topic is winterizing your hives and storing supers.

Community Outreach

The Outreach Committee is a vital part of the Northwest Arkansas Beekeeping Association and is responsible for preparing presentations and organizing volunteers for events that raise public awareness and knowledge about the importance of honeybees and other pollinators. We would like to invite anyone who is passionate about bees and raising awareness about bee preservation to join us. If you are not yet a beekeeper, this is a great time to learn more about bees while helping to spread information to the public about our association. Please contact Carrie Stolz if you have questions or want to volunteer (BambiBSN@yahoo.com or call/text 479-601-3664). If you have ideas for other outreach events, please let us know!

Fayetteville Library Bee Project

This is an ongoing project at the library, educational materials have been donated to the library specifically related to bees and there are several bee hives on the roof of the library with observation windows inside the library. Contact Ed Levi (edlevibees@gmail.com) to get involved.

About Our Club:

The Northwest Arkansas Beekeepers Association (NWABA) provides area beekeepers with the opportunity to share information with others interested in beekeeping. The association also promotes the benefits of bees and beekeeping for Northwest Arkansas whether you are involved in backyard gardening or large scale agricultural operations.

With over 225 members, our association has grown to become one of Arkansas's largest regional clubs for beekeeping. We have open membership, meaning anyone can join whether they keep bees or not.

Please feel free to browse our website. We hope you will be encouraged to visit us at one of our monthly meetings.
