BEE SCHOOL - Saturday, Nov 12th from 9 am to 4 pm at the Cornerstone Bank in Berryville, hosted by Dr. Doug Miller of Carroll County Beekeepers and beeing taught by James Rhein

Our November meeting (11-14-2016 at 6:00pm) is the best meeting of the year! Our potluck supper can not be beat. We will begin with a poem by Winfridus Bakker, and end with our most embarrassing beekeeping moments. It is not necessary for you bring a dish, but if you decide to, please let Earl Rowe know via e-mail at

Applications for our 2017 Apprenticeship program are now available. Please review on this website.

Many of you have requested a chance to look at Winfridus Bakker's presentation about Veroa Mites from our July meeting. I have made this available at the bottom of the Advice and Tips page. Enjoy!
I am happy to announce that the NWA Beekeepers association is now a 501c3 non-profit Organization. Dues and donations are now tax deductible!

Thank You!

About Your Club
The Northwest Arkansas Beekeepers Association (NWABA) provides area beekeepers with the opportunity to share information with other hobby or commercial beekeepers. The association also promotes the benefits of bees and beekeeping for Northwest Arkansas whether you are involved in backyard gardening or large scale agricultural operations.

With over 225 members, our association has grown to become one of Arkansas's largest regional clubs for beekeeping. We have open membership and you can become a member at any time.

Membership is open to anyone without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, or disability

If you live in Eastern Oklahoma, Northwest Arkansas or Southwest Missouri, and you are a  beekeeper or want to be a beekeeper, we encourage you to become a member. Our intent is to provide a forum for you to acquire beekeeping knowledge and for you to share your knowledge and interests in beekeeping.

Please feel free to browse our website. We hope you will be encouraged to visit us at one of our monthly meetings.

Thanks for visiting our website. If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact us.
