·        BEE FACT:  The honey bee's wings stroke incredibly fast, about 200 beats per second, thus making their famous, distinctive buzz. A honey bee can fly for up to six miles, and as fast as 15 miles per hour.

While many insects are eaten by humans as food, the honey bee is the only insect that produces human food.

At the beginning of the meeting, we had 56 people in attendance.

This month we viewed a copy of the film Queen of the Sun, and had a group discussion afterward.

Horace Bryant announces that he will be selling his beekeeping equipment – he has assemble and un-assembled equipment. He can be reached at 479-756-2909 or 479-200-0382
